Downstream re-use

The majority of the world’s population drinks from rivers and streams that have received discharges from upstream users. In most of the industrialized developed world, there are treated wastewater discharges that become a source of drinking water supply for downstream users. It is nothing new. We’ve been doing it for centuries. What is new is that today’s technology makes it cleaner and safer. Water reuse is the key to a sustainable future. At T4b we promote re-use in an environmentally friendly way.

Learn more about the downstream drinking water re-use, while watching the video from ‘The WateReuse Research Foundation’. The image-rich presentation shows that water can be purified to be made drinkable again and shows that water reuse is the key to a sustainable future.
